There Will Be People – The Poem

Verse:

There will be people who wouldn’t let you live,
Just leave them for good;

There will be people who will never do right by you,
Don’t worry about them;

There will be people who will drag you down,
Get rid of them if you can;

There will be people who will put you down,
Just ignore them;

There will be people who will gang up on you,
Hope for the best
And keep growing your circle of friends and well-wishers;

There will be people who will force things on you,
Just continue doing what you do
And disregard them;

There will be people who will make you do things their way,
Just do whichever way you think is right;

There will be people who will never think about you and others,
A little kindness goes a long way,
Think about them still;

There will be people who will always put themselves before you,
Try not to give them any importance;

There will be people who will only do lip service to you,
Don’t take them too seriously;

There will be people who will make you feel inadequate all the time,
Be proud of who you are, warts and all;

There will be people who will only say negative things about you,
Don’t take their words to heart;

There will be people who will always be rude to you,
Karma is a bitch,
Be nice to them still;

There will be people who will never thank you,
Generosity is a good virtue to have,
Help them still;

There will be people who will never support you,
Keep going on still,
And let your work make them your supporter;

There will be people who will never be there when you need their help,
Do it yourself
And consider this as an opportunity to grow yourself;

There will be people who will only be by your side when you are winning,
Be humble to them still,
You may never know when your career may tumble down;
